Yamdrok Lake is one of the three holy lakes in Tibet and also the closest holy lake to the urban area of Lhasa. The lake surface is at an altitude of 4441 meters with an area of 638 square kilometers. Together with Namtso and Manasarovar, it is known as the bright pearls of the Tibetan Plateau. Yamdrok Lake features snow-capped mountains, glaciers, temples, and grasslands, with strong comprehensiveness, making it worthy of an in-depth tour.
