How will the Tibet Travel Permit be delivered to me after successful application?

After your Tibet Travel Permit is successfully processed, it will not be shipped internationally to your country or region.

Once you have successfully obtained the permit, we will decide whether to send it to you based on your mode of transportation into Tibet.

If the original permit needs to be mailed to you, it will be sent to the hotel in the Chinese city where you are staying.

By Plane:

We will mail the original Tibet Travel Permit to the hotel where you stay before your flight.

By Train (Original Required):

If you take a train from Xi’an, Chongqing, or Lanzhou, we must mail the original permit to your hotel.

By Train (Copy Only):

For trains departing from other cities (Chengdu, Xining, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, etc.), we will only send you the electronic version of the permit.

You may simply print it in color on A4 paper.

In this case, the original permit will be given directly to your Tibetan tour guide.
