【LHASA】
As a beautiful capital city of Tibet Autonomous Region(TAR),Lhasa is situated in the South central part of region,on the North bank of the kyichu River in a mountain-fringed valley.In the Tibetan language,Lhasa means the holy land or Buddha land,it is center of Tibet’s politics,economy and culture.The city has also been appointed as one of the 24 historical and cultural cities of China.
Day2 city sightseeing

Plan:
Visit Patalace Palace, Chokhang temple and walk around Parkhor (pilgrim circuit) for full day,the time arrange will be flexible according to reserved ticket for Potala palace. The visiting time to Potala palace is ordered by Potala palace administration office randomly, so it can be in the morning,can be at afternoon as well.

The iconic building of Tibet,locate center of Lhasa city.buildup on the red hill,was residence of Dalai Lama since the great fifth.it is a rare conserved elites wisdom combined construction of Tibetan,Nepali and Chinese.

[Chokhang temple]
is the most sacred temple of Tibet,it is build on a lake namely Milk lake,people are considering that name of Lhasa evolved from“Rasa” which means goats carry earth and filled the milk lake then build the temple gradually.
[Parkhor]
The most famous of Lhasa’s pilgrimage circuits traces of outskirt of the Chokhang temple and is probably the best introduction to the old town for newcomers
Day3 Lingkhor + Sera monastery

Plan:
Kick off in morning for a circle walk of old Lhasa city which circuit called Lingkhor,3-4hours walk(exclude time for visit),it is a pilgrim circumambulation. On the way visit ①thousand Buddha cliff(rock carving),②Chorten(stupa),③Kundeling(monastery)④holy stone,⑤Golden yaks,⑥city gate(Grakgo gali),⑦view point(picturing spot near by Chortan),⑧palha lupuk()⑨Lukhang(park locate behind the potala palce )Visit Sera monastery at the afternoon. The circle walk star from hotel and end at lunch place.
[Sera monastery]
Is use to be a learning center of both layperson and monks,but nowadays still there lot monks are educating from traditional course, mainly to train the mind through practice of philosophy, and every afternoon from 2:30pm -5:00pm, except Sunday is holding an argument or discussion course at the courtyard of the monastery.
Day4[Trekking day1] Camping

Plan:Lhasa-Gandan Monastery (4200M)-Drushi(3700M)
Drive to Gandan,and visit the monastery.The trekking start after visit of Gandan monastery.
*Before starting the main trek, we will walk around Gandan Monastery as pilgrims and visit the Monastery after the circumambulation. (walking distance:3km 1.5hrs)
*Start trekking from the parking lot at the base of Gandan Monastery. Due to poor condition of the restaurants here, your guide will prepare lunchbox for you. Leave the parking lot and look for the well-trodden trail heading south along the side of Wangkor Ri Mountain, Pass by the best view point of Gandan Monastery. The trail heading to the highest point of 4600m above sea level today, almost an hour climbing, and that is only hard portion today.
*for the next two hours you will be descending to Drushi Village, the camping site of today.*Your luggage will be taken cared of by camping crew. And they will prepare camping services and dinner.

[Gandan]
is the biggest monastery of yellow hat order, found in 1409 by the founder of yellow hat order. It takes 1 hour driving to Gandan from Lhasa.
Day5[Trekking day2] Camping

This is not a tough day! Trekking from Drushi to Yamado takes only half a day. After breakfast, start the trekking with your picnic lunch. It takes about 2-3 hours to the destination without steep slopes, so we suggest you to take it easy and enjoy the view. Yamado is scattered with nomad’s tents, and is divided into two parts by the river, both sides are suitable to camp. We suggest you to visit nomad’s tent for the rest of day. They will absolutely show their warm welcome to you, yogurt, cheese, butter tea would be provided, also you can walk further just to feel the tranquil and peace of the environment. Chef will prepare cookies and tea for you, so you may also just stay around your tent and read your books.
Day6[Trekking day3] Camping

Today is the toughest day of the whole trip. It takes about 4hours to Shugala Pass where you can see the beautiful Lungda(prayer flags) and yak horn, and this is the highest point of the whole trip with an altitude of 5217m. You may take pictures here, but we suggest you not to stay there for long because of the high altitude.(For your own safety, please let the yaks and herdsman go ahead of you) You will get to the destination of today after 1.5 hours walking along the Tsotup Chu River.
Day7[Trekking day4] Camping

Today you will pass the Chitu-la(5100m) which is topped by several cairns. Also on the pass is a small glacial cairn. Move to the west side of the pass to find the trail from down and to circumvent a sheer rock wall on its south flank. A short but steep descent will bring you into a basin with three small lakes. The trail skirts the west side of the lakes . It takes 1hours to reach the south end of the basin. Drop down from the basin on the west side of the stream and in 1.5hours you will hit the place to set up camp Sumdo.
Day8[Trekking day5] Camping

Walk through the thickening scrub forest for one hour and you will come to another stream entering from the east side of the main valley. The next three-hour stretch of the trail is among the most delightful parts of the entire trek. According to local woodcutters, more than 15 types of trees and shrubs are found here, some growing to as high as 6m. Fragrant junipers grow on exposed southern slopes while rhododendrons prefer the shadier slopes.
Today is the day to say goodbye to the herdsman.
After visiting the Yamalong Nunnery you will drive to Samye Monastery, which is about 4km from Yamalong.
Day9 Samye monastery /Yamdrok lake/Lhasa
Plan:Visit Samye monastery, and drive to Lhasa via Yamdrok Lake(4700m).

[Samye Monastery]is the first monastery in Tibet built in 8th century by the 38th king of Tibet, Trisong Detsan.

Customized Itinerary Booking Instructions
1. Prior to booking, you shall confirm every detail of the itinerary, hotels, scenic spots, and duration of stay with the staff of our travel agency.
2. Once confirmed, you must follow the pre-planned itinerary upon arrival in Tibet, and no arbitrary changes to the itinerary are allowed.
3. The chartered car fare will increase during China’s major statutory holidays, such as the Spring Festival, National Day (October 1st), and Labor Day (May 1st) each year.
4. Each passenger (including children or infants) is entitled to one regular seat for the chartered car. Please confirm the exact number of passengers before booking. If overloading occurs, the driver has the right to refuse departure, and the booking party shall bear all losses arising therefrom.
5. Due to the special plateau environment in Tibet, every person may experience altitude sickness and other concurrent symptoms. Therefore, you must undergo a physical examination at a hospital before traveling to the Sichuan-Tibet Plateau, and may only depart after confirming that your heart, lungs, and other major organs are in good condition. Boarding the vehicle shall be deemed as acknowledgment of the accidental risks of plateau travel. Our agency shall not be liable for: any consequences, losses, or compensation claims arising from altitude sickness.
6. In case of traffic control or road interruption caused by force majeure, or factors such as traffic conditions, road maintenance, or weather in plateau areas, tourists shall cooperate with the driver to wait patiently or adjust the itinerary route. If the adjustment of the route or waiting results in an increase in vehicle fares and fuel costs, such additional expenses shall be borne by the tourists. Additionally, do not book long-distance transportation (flights/trains) on the day of your return trip. If you miss your flight or train due to traffic jams, traffic control, or other reasons, you shall be responsible for the consequences, and our agency shall not be liable.
7. Anyone suffering from infectious diseases, cardiovascular diseases, cerebrovascular diseases, respiratory diseases, mental illness, severe anemia, patients in the recovery period after major or medium-sized surgeries, individuals with limited mobility, pregnant women, and other persons unfit for travel are not allowed to book the chartered car. Those booking on behalf of others must also verify the physical condition of the person being booked for. If the booker (or the person booking on behalf of others) conceals their physical condition, they shall bear all consequences arising therefrom.
